It has been said that North Ridge Tours offers the "BEST VERMONT TRIP" from the northeast Ohio area and we can prove that claim! Come along. We've added something NEW! There's a chill in the air as we depart for Vermont. Bring your favorite morning beverage as cinnamon rolls are served on our motor coach. We travel to Jamestown, NY to visit The Desi-Lucy Museum before venturing on to the Corning Glass Museum. We overnight near Binghamton, NY. Dinner is included this evening. After breakfast which is also included, we find ourselves touring the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. Lunch is on your own. This afternoon you'll notice a gradual change in the fall colors as we make our way into Vermont. Our overnights are at the Big Bears Ski Lodge in rustic West Dover, VT, and our hosts Steve and Caroline are thrilled to welcome us again this year. You will be delighted by their British charm and friendship. This tour highlights Vermont's beautiful foliage, Sprague's Maple Syrup Haus, The Vermont Country Store, Yankee Candle, Magic Wings Butterfly Museum, Grafton Village Cheese, Hogback Mountain with its 100 mile view, Hildene the home of Mary Todd Lincoln, The Rockwell Museum of Magazine Covers, The "Friesians of Majesty Livery" complete with equestrian show, The Yankee Peddler & Chocolatorium Chocolates, Hemmings Auto Museum and the Green Mountain Boys Memorial in Bennington. We have planned departure locations at the North Ridgeville Library, Lakeland Community College and North Kingsville in Ashtabula. This trip includes: 5 nights lodging, 1 on the road breakfast, 4 "Made to Order" Full Vermont breakfasts, 3 lunches or picnics, 5 Delicious Dinners, all Admittances, Listed Touring, Baggage Handling, Local Taxes and Deluxe Motor Coach Transportation with Snacks and Beverage on our coach. We're returning to our normal destinations for our annual Fall Three Casino Blitz. First we visit the Firekeepers' Casino four hours. Then on to The Soaring Eagle Resort & Casino for our double occupancy overnight After breakfast the next morning we're off to Greektown Casino before venturing home. Nov. 1 - 9: SOUTHERN PLANTATIONS EXCURSION . . . . . . . . . . . $1,879.00 DAY 1: Plan for a 5:30 a.m. departure from The North Ridgeville Library with convenient rest and lunch stops along our way to the Jim Beam Distillery. Our overnight today is at the Hampton Inn in Franklin, KY. Dinner is included next door. DAY 2: After our included breakfast we venture to the Ryman Auditorium for a morning tour. We've planned an "on your own" lunch at Loretta Lynn's Kitchen before traveling to Graceland for a late afternoon tour. We'll stay this evening at the Hampton Inn in Southaven, MS. DAY 3: Today is mostly a travel day due to the distance we have to go. This evening we check into The Country Inn & Suites, our home for the next 4 nights. Our included dinner this evening is at the Mulate' Restaurant with real live Cajun Music. DAY 4: After breakfast in our hotel we meet our "Step on Guide" for tours of the Evergreen and Oak Alley Plantations before enjoying an included lunch at Spuddy's Cajun Restaurant. Then, we on to the San Francisco Plantation which is owned by The Mobile Oil Company. After freshening up a bit, we're out to dinner at Nobile's Cajun Restaurant. DAY 5: After breakfast our guide will give us a morning tour of New Orleans, which may include a very special stop for animal lovers. This afternoon, you will have time to browse through The French Quarter. At 5:30 p.m. SHARP we assemble at the waterfront dock of the Steamboat Natchez for an evening Dinner Cruise in the Mississippi River. Bring your dancing shoes! DAY 6: After breakfast, we visit The Laura, the best preserved of all the plantations. We'll witness the housing of the enslaved occupants of the time. We lunch today at the B&C Seafood Restaurant before going on Swamp Pride Tour of the back country. Dinner this evening is at Frenier Landings on the shores of Lake Pontchartrain. DAY 7: We depart this morning with many fond memories of the New Orleans area, making a brief stop at the Jimmy Rodgers Museum before continuing on th the Hampton Inn, Athens, AL. Dinner this evening is included at the RO Restaurant. DAY 8: Our journey this morning takes us to the Opryland Complex for a short visit. Then we're off the the Corvette Cafe' & Museum, before heading for My Old Kentucky Home in Bardstown, KY Dinner this evening is included. DAY 9: As we start for home, we make a stops at the Kentucky Derby Museum and The Louisville Slugger Factory & Museum. An "on your own" fast food dinner stop is planned later in the day.
