We are pleased to introduce our 2019 Travel and Tour listing.
Who We Are
We are Nick and Diane Modock and have been in the travel and tour business for more than 47 years. What started as Pinnacle Tours in 1970 evolved into Janick Tours in 1972 with Nick and his late wife Janice. You can easily see how we got our name. Janick Tours was quite successful. With Janice being diagnosed with a terminal illness, that has a way of redirecting a persons plans. The business was put on the back burner. Nick offered tours to large groups through her illness until Janice passed away. Fast forward a few years until when Nick met Diane, who had lost her husband suddenly. We eventually got married.
How We Became North Ridge Tours
Upon retirement from RTA, Nick could not stay idle for long and decided to revitalize his traveling idea and dreams, thus North Ridge Tours. We serve Lorain, Medina, Erie, Huron, Cuyahoga, Summit, Ashland and Lake counties. We design our tours to fit the needs of the more knowledgeable mature traveler who want to explore new horizons. We view everyone who travels with us as "Traveling Partners" and "Dear Friends". We realize that each of our traveling partners is unique, having different needs, likes and appetites. On occasion on our multi-day tours, we include "Off the Menu" meal stops as part of that tour. This allows for our individual traveling partners to choose a meal to their liking. This is unique and we hope that you enjoy that option.
What We Offer Our Traveling Partners
Each of our One Day Trips is designed to allow our traveling partners the opportunity to fully experience the destinations that we visit. We make every effort to plan for your total enjoyment and relaxation. Our Day Trips are "All Inclusive" with regard to meals, admittances, guided touring and transportation. We feel that as North Ridge Tours, we offer an economical travel and tour experience. Being retired, we operate out of our home and therefore, being our own office staff we have no outside expenses for our traveling friends to pay for. So, COME ALONG to take advantage of our fantastic economical tours. Invite your friends, neighbors and family to join us.
We Ask For Your Assistance
Try to make your reservations at least three months in advance. This assists us in our planning by not having to cancel a tour. That way you will not miss out on your favorite tour destination. We make plans and deposits with our agents for meal, touring, lodging and motor coach transportation as far out as 8 months in advance to guarantee our reservations. Some of these are non-refundable if cancelled less 45 days from our tour departure date. We need your assistance in this regard. Thank you for your understanding.
